Tiger Days and the secret cat- Sarah Lean

Tiger Days

I work in a Primary School and we are always looking for new literature to spark the children's interests and this book certainly did that. It now sits proudly in our school library so it can inspire other children.
The story is about a 9 year old girl called Tiger Days she is off on an adventure she is going to visit her grandmother who she hasn't seen for a long time. It shows how their relationship changes and how change can sometimes be really good for you. I don't want to give to much away as I want you to read the book and share it with the children you know.
Tiger is spritely and independent and she is obsessed with tigers, she loves all things animal and she will meet some suprising allies along the way.
This is a captivating story about love, friendship, laughter, bravery and determination. Tiger is passionate about helping animals and she will find she falls in love with the most unlikely creatures.
I'm going to pre order the next book as the children were hooked and couldn't wait to find out more about the wonderful world Sarah Lean  has created.
The illistrations are beautiful and I love the flowers in the corners of the pages.

The next instalment is out on the 25th of August and is called Tiger Days and the moonlight foxes. Go check it out.
